Chevron and Phillips JV Makes Pitch for Canada's Nova Chemicals, Sources Say
A joint venture between Chevron Corp. (CVX) and Phillips 66 (PSX) made an offer to acquire Canadian plastics maker Nova Chemicals, Reuters reported Thursday, citing "people familiar with the matter."
Chevron Phillips Chemical Company LP offered more than $15 billion including debt, the report said.
Abu Dhabi's Mubadala Investment Co. owns Nova, and has been exploring a sale of the company, the report said.
