He noted that in 2017 the decline in production was due to artificial reasons: Russia, within the framework of the OPEC + agreement, reduced production, which affected the Tyumen region. In the next 3 years, the level of oil production in the Tyumen region will remain in the range of 12-13 million tons of oil / year.
Currently, 4 enterprises in the Tyumen region produce hydrocarbons: RN-Uvatneftegaz (a subsidiary of Rosneft), Gazpromneft-Khantos, Surgutneftegaz, PIT-Sibintek. The main production in the Tyumen region accounts for RN-Uvatneftegaz. In February 2019, the company summed up 10 years from the beginning of the commercial exploitation of the fields of the Eastern Development Center (ECV) of the Uvat project.
