Worldwide LNG demand will rise by up to 10% in 2018
Global LNG demand is set to increase by 7-10% in 2018, Bloomberg New Energy Finance (BNEF) said on Wednesday.
Demand expanded by 10% in 2017, to 285 mtpa marking a six-year high. Rising volumes coupled with higher prices will take the value of LNG trade close to $120 billion, a 15% increase from last year, according to Maggie Kuang, lead analyst for Asia Pacific LNG at BNEF.
