中国石化新闻网讯 据道琼斯纽约3月1日消息，美国能源情报署(EIA)在周四发布的一份报告中称，2012年美国天然气消费量增长了4.4%，至25.5万亿立方英尺，为1949年有记录以来的最高水平。
2012年美国电力企业的天然气消费量增长20.6%，至9.1万亿立方英尺，为1997年有记录以来的最高水平。
居民天然气消费量则下降11.4%，至4.177万亿立方英尺，为1966年以来最低水平。
能源情报署称，初步数据显示，2012年全年天然气产量为24万亿立方英尺，较2011年增长5%。

EIA: 2012 U.S. Natural Gas Demand Up 4.4% to Record High

NEW YORK--U.S. natural gas consumption rose 4.4% in 2012, to 25.5 trillion cubic feet, the highest level on records beginning in 1949, the federal Energy Information Administration said in a report released Thursday.
The rise came as natural gas delivered to power-generators jumped 20.6% to 9.1 trillion cubic feet, a record high on EIA data beginning in 1997.
Gas delivered to residential users fell by 11.4% to 4.177 trillion cubic feet, the lowest level since 1966.
EIA said preliminary annual totals for 2012 show record dry production of 24 trillion cubic feet in 2012, a 5% increase over 2011.
